Characters Gather

From time to time, we all plan an event and it turns out perfectly. I had such a magnificent event of Friday October 13, 2017.
But before I tell you about that, let’s turn back the calendar two years.
In December, I retired from being an engineer and began pursuing my dream to become a writer. My goals were to (1) get writing in 2016 and (2) publish in 2017. Last Friday night, all the characters from my book Good Intentions, Wrong Directions (me as well) ate, drank, and were merry. It was a wonderful time! Before too much wine flowed, which it did, I assigned the cast the job of coming up with some ideas to roll into the sequel, due out in 2019.

Pictured above, from right to left, were Andy O’Connor (aka Magnus), Andrea Long (aka Amanda), Paul Gaboury (aka JP), Ann Mulak (aka Gina), me (aka Alex), and Marcy Abbott (aka Marcy). Cupcake, the gaseous dog, had other plans for the evening and could not be present. Plus, who would take a farting dog into a restaurant?
My next goal is to get my collection of short stories out in 2018.
